The sensual experience of making art provides counterbalance for the more practical and utilitarian aspects of my life. Whether in the form of music, writing, movement or visual arts; involvement in the creative process is essential to my happiness. I feel privileged for the opportunity to share and engage in this experience with others.

I’m motivated by the people around me, past or present — whether it’s by the lack of things in life that they have failed to accomplish, or those that they have. Like many other people, I know some in each category. I’m determined not to share the regrets of those who are unable to apply the tools of their trade to perform their craft; and inspired by those who seem to have endless energy to create and produce “not just creatively“ but whatever it is that inspires them and makes them happy.
