This fun and exciting class will explore simple hand-building techniques and raku firing!
Two days of hand-building and two days of raku firing. Ryder will demo making vessels with different techniques along with discussions of the implications of forms and how they respond in a raku firing. The raku firing will be a time to explore the wonderful colors and surprises that this technique offers. Sharing results and participation will give students a deeper understanding of this exciting process!
Students of all levels are welcome.
